Rafael , Sukhoi and Mirage-2000 jets in exercise will join Indian side in war with France
The French side will include Airbus A-330 multi-purpose tanker transport aircraft (MRTT), A-400M strategic transport aircraft, along with Rafale fighter aircraft.
The five-day aerial maneuver between France and India commencing near Jodhpur on Wednesday will include Rafale, Sukhoi and Mirage-200 fighter jets, along with other aircraft of the Indian Air Force. The Indian Air Force said that the IL-78 air refueling aircraft and the Air Warning and Control System (AWACS) will also be included in the exercise called 'Ex-Desert Night 21'.

At the same time, the French side will include Airbus A-330 multi-purpose tanker transport aircraft (MRTT), A-400M strategic transport aircraft along with Rafale fighter aircraft. With this, 175 soldiers of the French military force will also participate in this exercise. This air military exercise is taking place at a time when the Indian Air Force has kept all its advance air bases ready to operate at any time in view of the deadlock with China in East Ladakh.
Indian Air Force said- Desert Night-21 joint air maneuver between India Air Force and France Air and Special Forces is starting from tomorrow. This exercise between the two armies is a milestone. France's A-400M strategic transport aircraft has reached Jodhpur.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) said in a statement, "This maneuver is special as Rafael aircraft from both sides are participating in it and it is a sign of growing relationship between the air forces of the two countries."
